The Judicial College of Victoria has issued a new Guidance for Australian Courts on Modern Slavery. Although not specifically written for lawyers or migration agents; the Guidance refers to the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) and it should be considered by decision-making bodies when determining matters involving slavery, forced marriage and exploitation.
